2019 Build Plans
Well, I gave it a good run in 2017 trying to custom build cabinets upon request. Overall, the year did not work out that well. I took 2018 off. And now in 2019, I am ready to start cutting again with a different strategy.
For 2019, My plans are to do small runs of cabinets based upon my needs/wants and the availability of parts and donor cabinets. Most of the challenge for cabinets is getting the first cabinet assembled and parts adjusted. By the time the second or third cabinets are completed, most of the trial and error and wasted costs have been eliminated from the process. I hope to cut and assemble 3-4 cabinets a month. My tentative build plans are as follows....
February - Reactor cabinets - currently cut and assembled. I am currently finishing off 4 cabinets. I will post pictures when completed.
March - Juno First / Krull / Three Stooges (share the same cabinet) - Cabinet plans are being verified (some issues), in the middle of cutting the first cabinet.
April - Dragon's Lair
May - TMNT
June - TBD
Also, I have an EDOT that I will have to rebuild this year (once I find a few more parts for it) which may result in a few extra being cut as well.
